Moving Allowance
Applicants who reside outside of Alberta at the time of hire will be eligible to receive reimbursement up to $1,000 to cover moving expenses. Applicants will be required to submit receipts and expenses must be CRA eligible.
Paid Training and Pension Plan
As soon as a recruit begins training they start receiving a first-year constable salary ($67 414) and begin contributing toward the Special Forces Pension Plan. Members can receive a pension after 25 years of service.
Employee Assistance Program
The EPS recognizes that job performance is directly related to the health and welfare of EPS members and their families. For this reason, the EPS promotes wellness by providing help to members who may be experiencing work, family or personal issues. Confidential assistance is available (on a voluntary basis) to members and their dependents at no cost.
