Edmonton Police Service Recruiting > News & Events > Vancouver Recruiting Trip
Recruiters are coming to Vancouver to hold a variety of recruiting events. All events will be held at:
Kwantlen Polytechnic University
Surrey, British Columbia
Information Session - Friday September 27 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM Room: Section 1205C Conference Center, Cedar Building
Come find out why we've been named one of Alberta's Top 75 Employers. Recruiters will tell you why you should choose the EPS, give you a detailed explanation of our 8 stage application process, and offer a glimpse into Recruit Training. There will also be time left at the end for all your questions to be answered. And don't worry, you don’t need a policing background to become a member of the Edmonton Police Service. Every year we hire people from a wide variety of backgrounds. They were born in different cities, countries and speak a variety of languages. They all have different educational backgrounds, career paths and reasons for joining.
Registration is closed as the session is now full.
Written Testing - Saturday September 28 from 9:00AM - 4:00PM Room: Section 1205C Conference Center, Cedar Building
Take this opportunity to write the ACT and APCAT exam, no application required. This exam is a provincial standard where your results are valid for 5 years and transferable to every municipal police agency within the province of Alberta. Please note that although this is an open exam that requires no application, writing the exams count as an official attempt.
