Women in Policing - Seminar

Location: Recruiting Office, 11638, 142 Street, NW. Room: Classroom
Join us for an interactive event that covers women in policing experiences, light physical training exercises and discussions on real-life policing scenarios! After participants are split into three groups, you will cycle through the following stations:
- The Recruiting Staff Sergeant and Sergeant will share their experiences and perspective being in a leadership role. Ask questions and learn first-hand what it's like to be a police officer.
- Try your hand at the push/pull machine and learn more about the physical requirements to prepare for the A-PREP stage of the application process.
- Discuss a real-world policing scenario and how to respond in a round-table discussion.
