Beginning at the constable rank, EPS will offer you numerous exciting opportunities to learn and advance while you make a positive impact in the community. Promotion is available to those who desire it, but the opportunities as a constable are far reaching and rewarding as well. Whether you choose to go up the ladder or not, you will gain a wealth of experiences in a career that is never the same day twice!

Your education and development is not only encouraged, it is financially supported by EPS. “Learning while earning” promotes individual growth for members and creates well-rounded officers who have an abundance of skills to offer. Get that degree, diploma and/or certificate you desired while working for EPS! Our members are in training each and every year to ensure our officers are at the top of the game. The Service offers internal courses that our members choose to take to develop the skills that will prepare them for new areas they want to work towards, or just to advance their knowledge in specific areas. The EPS encourages the membership to participate in the promotion processes as well and rise through the ranks of the police service.
