Recruiters will be in Calgary in March conducting two recruiting events. All events will be held at: Bow Valley College 345 6 Ave SE Calgary, Alberta T2G 4V1 Information Session - Saturday March 9th from 4:00PM - 6:00PM (Room: Theatre N124) Come find out why we've been named one of Alberta's Top 70 Employers. Recruiters will tell you why you should choose the EPS, give you a detailed explanation of our 8 stage application process, and offer a glimpse into Recruit Training. There will also be time left at the end for all your questions to be answered. And don't worry, you don’t need a policing background to become a member of the Edmonton Police Service. Every year we hire people from a wide variety of backgrounds. They were born in different cities, countries and speak a variety of languages. They all have different educational backgrounds, career paths and reasons for joining. Click here to register to attend the information session. Written Testing - Sunday March 10th from 8:00AM - 4:00PM (Room: Theatre N124) Take this opportunity to write the ACT and APCAT exam, no application required. This exam is a provincial standard where your results are valid for 5 years and transferable to every municipal police agency within the province of Alberta. Please note that although this is an open exam that requires no application, writing the exams count as an official attempt.
