Effective 2010 January 1, the A-PREP will replace the PARE as the standard physical abilities test for Edmonton Police Service applicants.

A-PREP was researched and developed province-wide over the course of several years. The resulting test accurately reflects the physical challenges of true to life, on the job policing tasks.
