Application Process

Before applicants jump into the application process, it’s a good idea to review the following qualifications and minimum requirements.

• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)*
• Good moral character
• Be in excellent health and physical condition
• Meet visual and hearing examination standards
• Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Possess valid driver’s licence (maximum of 5 demerits) - GDL not accepted
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Have no criminal conviction for which a pardon has not been granted

 *It is preferred that applicants have two years of continuous employment or two years of post-secondary education.

The timescale for the selection process is typically two to four months.
