An applicant must have submitted a complete application package and have been successful in both the APCAT and ACT examinations prior to undertaking the A-PREP
A-PREP session dates:
- Monday March 13, 2017
- Monday March 20, 2017
- Monday March 27, 2017
- 8:00am at Police Headquarters
Edmonton Police Service Headquarters
9620 - 103A Avenue
Applicants must be registered to take this test, either at the time of successful completion of both the APCAT and ACT exams or upon being instructed by a member of the Recruiting and Selection Unit.
At the time of testing, applicants will be required to hand in a completed PAR-Q+, a medical screening questionnaire. It should not be submitted with the Application.
Also, a completed Applicant Consent for A-PREP Testing and Release of Information document must be handed at the start of the A-PREP session. Again, it should not be submitted with the Application.
If you have any medical concerns, or you have checked the 'Yes' box to any of the PAR-Q+ questions, you should have both the PARMed-x and APREP Medical Clearance Form completed and signed by a Physician prior to your testing date; you must then bring them along to the session - do not submit them with the Application.
Failure to bring the appropriate completed documents may result in candidates not being permitted to participate in an A-PREP testing session.
Do not submit any of these medical forms with your Application - they are to be brought with you to the APREP testing session.
